Princeton v. Yale Football Program 1934 in very good condition. 46 pages, with a great cover illustration by Sav showing the Princeton Tiger and Yale Bulldog winking at each other while their picture is being taken. Nice black and white pictures of players from both teams in the program. Contains an article about Eddie Driggs (Princeton '17) and his golf exploits. Most unusually, the program contains a full page picture of the Yale captain Francis Clare Curtin on the fence. This is normally a feature of Yale programs. Includes a full page ad for the Empire Room at the Waldorf Astoria. A great Art Deco era program. Princeton v. Yale is one of the oldest rivalries in college football, dating back to 1873. Program includes John “Jac” Weller, who played Guard for Princeton 1933-1935 and is in the College Football Hall of Fame.
