University of Pennsylvania Wedgwood Plate, Towne Scientific School, 1929. Wedgwood, Etruria. Made in England 9L30. Sole Importer Jones McDuffee & Stratton Co. Plate measures 10 3/8 inches in diameter. In very good condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. Attractive blue on white depicts Towne Scientific School in the middle of the plate. Around the edges are little vignettes of Penn showing early University building and the school crest.
