Dartmouth v. Yale Football Program for game played in New Haven on October 30, 1948. 75 page program in very good condition. Prior owner name written in ink on page two. Includes pictures of all the coaches, and players from both teams. Includes an article about Yale and the XIV Olympiad, held earlier that year in London. The color centerfold, which contains a Chesterfield cigarette ad and the rosters of both teams, is loose. The program lists the results of every Yale game ever held up to this time, covering the period 1872 through 1947. Also includes both the Yale and Dartmouth cheers. The beautiful color cover illustration is by artist Jean Wade. The scene is painted near the Yale Bowl looking toward Derby Avenue. One of the most interesting and imaginative of all the ivy league program covers! Program measures 8 1/2 inches x 11 1/2 inches.
