Includes historic pictures of the first Michigan football team from 1879. Also has pictures of Michigan teams from the 1880s and 1890s and individual pictures of players from both teams for the current game. Full page advertisement for the new 1939 Packard "Six & 120". Fabulous cover illustration of a young boy practicing football with his dog. The program includes Frank Reagan who played for Penn from 1938 to 1940 and was known as the "Flying Irishman". Reagan would go on to play for both the Philadelphia Eagles and the NY Giants.
