Dartmouth v. Harvard Football Program 1906. Historic eighty page program in very good condition. Full of vintage advertisements including one for pre-embargo cuban cigars, cruises to "Porto Rico" and Bermuda, which is highlighted as being free from Malaria. Other advertisements are for Grape Nuts, Shredded Wheat, Apollinaris, "The Queen of Table Waters", Brooks Brothers, B.V.D. underwear including coat-length undershirts. The program has a rare pictures of the Carlisle Indian Team and an action shot of a Harvard-Carlisle Indian Game from 1905. Includes nice black and white photos of both teams and one of Harvard running onto the field. There are separate pages for Harvard's scorecard and Dartmouth's. Each are in perfect condition, unused. The New Rules (listed in the program) for the 1906 season include: The distance to be gained in 3 downs is increased from 5 yards to 10 yards. And, the length of the game is reduced from 70 minutes to one hour. A very nice, historical item. Rare.
