Fantastic difficult to find early history of Stanford. Includes chapters on "Early Days of Stanford", "Beginnings in Palo Alto", The Cornell Colony at Palo Alto, "The Early History of Athletics at Stanford", "THe San Francisquito Rancho" and several more. Includes a dozen early black and white photos of the campus and surrounding area, including many several univeristy buildings in the process of being built. A nice historic book.
