Harvard-Yale Crew Program 1895 (Boat Race). This is a 9" x 6" Official Souvenir Program of the Yale-Harvard Boat Race, New London, Conn. June 28, 1895. Program has individual photos of the rowing teams and an individual close up picture of each player (one per page) and is eighty pages. The book has many period advertisements including the Waterbury Watch, Spalding Bicycle, Youmans Straw Hats, Pain's Fireworks Company Brooks Brothers, etc. Some of the ads are in color, which is rare for a program of this period. The hard cover has some soiling from age and the spine has a tear, otherwise in very good condition. A rare Victorian era crew program.
