Early Yale silver spoon with an attached pole and flag. The flag is enameled in blue with "YALE" in silver letters and a pole with ball top. A twisted handle was formed starting from the flag and ending half way down the handle. The bowl is gold washed and the back of the handle is stamped "Sterling" with no hallmarks. The spoon is 4-1/8" long and is in excellent condition.
