A Description of Dartmouth College, 83 pages, hardcover book in green cloth with gilt lettering, published by the college, Hanover, NH. Beautifully illustrated with black and white photos of the campus and buildings. Provides background on the college's history, the student body and the curriculum.

A beautiful book describing the college, its expectation for new students, activities, sports, clubs, etc. The book has some interesting insights such as "Student-faculty relations are unusually intimate at Dartmouth. Faculty homes are open to student callers." In the chapter on admissions, "Dartmouth desires men...". "The annual tuition fee at Dartmouth is $400." A rare book and offers an interesting look back at collegiate culture in the 1930s. The book is in good condition with some tearing of the front cover.
