Harvard College in the Seventeenth Century by Samuel Eliot Morison. Cambridge, Massachusetts: Harvard University Press,1936. Two volumes, Quarto, original red ribbed cloth lettered in gilt, map endpapers, top edges gilt. A few small whitish marks on front cover, slight darkening of spine channels, otherwise in fine condition. 707 pages in total.  Illustrated first edition. Morison was a member of the class of 1908, was professor of history at Harvard University and winner of two Pulitzer prizes. Both dust jackets are present as well, making this a rare set.
