This meticulously detailed etching of Harvard is the first aerial view for over a century to depict all the buildings in Harvard Yard. Exquisite panels on the bottom of the etching illustrate significant university buildings including Massachusetts Hall, Weld Boathouse and Memorial Hall. Produced by Andrew Ingamells in a signed, numbered edition limited of 425 etchings only. The etching is done on a sheet that is 23.5 inches x 28 inches (597 x 711 mm) on off-white Hahnemuhle paper. Ingamells chosen medium of copperplate etching is one that is virtually unchanged in over 500 years. The prints are made in exactly the same way as those of Rembrandt and Goya, or more recently Picasso and Matisse. They are produced in strictly limited editions after which the plate is destroyed.

Very high quality, a spectacular work of art!

Would make a unique gift for the Harvard graduate.
