Vintage 45 page Stanford Days booklet outlines the University for prospective students. Undated, but circa 1930s. In very good condition, some residual glue on the back cover where the booklet was removed from being pasted down. Measures 8 1/2 x 11

It describes the campus, environment and area well. The tuition is $100 per quarter ($130 for the Graduate School of Business and $115 for the School of Medicine). There is no smoking on the Quad. “A few days after the University opened, Mrs. Stanford asked the students not to smoke inside the Quadrangles or on the arcades, so they might be kept clean.” Stanford men and women have respected her wish.” The booklet contains vintage black and white pictures of life on the idyllic campus.

"Nearly every Stanford man has an opportunity participate in competitive athletics." Contains the Stanford Hymn, black and white pictures of the campus and color illustrations of the campus which are truly spectacular. "No Smoking on the quad.
