Dartmouth Winter Carnival Original Poster 1988

New original poster in Original Dartmouth Winter Carnival Poster 1988. Graphics featuring an ancient Grecian athlete about to throw a discus. Poster titled "Winter Games for Old Gods and Godesses." Dimensions approximately 22" x 34".

Unused, having no more than edge nicks or wrinkles. Officially named Winter Carnival, the annual event evolved into a legendary festival once dubbed "the Mardi Gras of the North" by National Geographic. Our posters were purchased in bulk and come from the college and is not a reproduction.

Each year students submit poster designs in a competition. A committee of students know as the Winter Carnival Council then picks the winning design. This poster was designed by Martin R. Moulton (Dartmouth '88).

Shipped in a rigid tube to ensure safe arrival.
