Dartmouth Winter Carnival Poster 1989. Measures 34 inches x 22 inches. The theme of the poster is "Break out of Hibernation," and it depicts a bear wearing snow shoes carrying skies and a hockey stick. Each year students submit poster designs in a competition. A committee of students know as the Winter Carnival Council then picks the winning design. This year's poster was designed by Wendy S. Heisterkamp (Dartmouth class of 90).
