Cover illustration of Uncle Sam holding two players and a referee in one hand and a fan in the other is by Gib Crockett, who illustrated Army-Navy covers for over 40 years. The theme of the 1957 program was "From the Gaslight Era to the Atomic Age" and there is an article about that in the program. The program also gives a summary of every Army-Navy game from 1890 through 1956.
