Columbia Medallion - College of Physicians and Surgeons - Original Box

Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons medallion. 2 1/4 inches in diameter. Issued for the 200th anniversary of the founding in 1767. One side of the medallion shows the entrance to the old Presbyterian Hospital. The other shows an ancient female figure (Hygeia, the Goddess of Health) with a torch and leaves in flight. Marked Adam Belshie, who is the European designer who specializes in making items for the medical field.  Unknown medal, but quite heavy and comes with it's original pale blue box.
