Columbia v. Stanford Football Program 1936 in very good condition, some wear to the cover. Game played at the Polo Grounds in New York. Fantastic cover illustration shows Stanford's mascot at the time--an Indian--in silhouette, with the Columbia mascot--the lion--on top of it. The cover illustration was done by Chuck Thorndike.

The 18 page program contains pictures of players from both teams, period advertisements and articles about Stanford and Columbia football. Sid Luckman, who would go on to quarterback for the Chicago Bears and is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, played for Columbia at the time and is pictured in the program.

A fantastic Art Deco program!
