Rare Cornell v. Penn Football Program 1909. 40 page program in good condition, the cover is separate from the rest of the program and four small spots on the rear cover where item has some glue residue, otherwise in good condition. Measures 6 1/2 inches x 10 1/2 inches.

This game was played on Thanksgiving Day at Franklin Field, as was the tradition as the weather at Cornell was not as predictable. They played the game in Philadelphia for 68 consecutive times. Since the 1970s game have been held at both Ithaca and Philadelphia.

Penn's rivalry with Cornell is the fifth most played college football rivalry of all time. Their first game was in 1893 and have played every year since, except in 1918. Since 1995, the winner of the Cornell-Penn football game has been awarded the Trustees' Cup. Nice black and white pictures of each team and individual players. Full of nice vintage advertisements. The cover has a picture of Memorial Tower at Penn and a picture of the 1908 Penn v. Cornell game.

A real gem!
