Dartmouth Winter Carnival Poster 1954 - Original. Dartmouth Skiing poster in good condition, a small tear, top right, about 1/2 inch. Measures 34 inches tall and 22 inches wide. February 5-6 1954. Officially named Winter Carnival, the annual event evolved into a legendary festival once dubbed the Mardi Gras of the North by National Geographic magazine. Not a reproduction, an original poster, designed by Stephen G. Chontos, Dartmouth Class of '56. Offset lithograph printed by Winthrop Printing, Boston.
