Illustrated with 348 black & white photographs, taken by Patrice Grimbert, Luis Medina and Jose Lupez, featuring every building on the campus and the Yerkes Observatory in Wisconsin. Contains a large folding plan at the rear of the text, giving a birds-eye view of the campus showing the placement of university structures. The campus consists of 165 acres of trees, gardens and lawns surrounded on either side by Frederick Law Olmstead's Midway Plaisance.
