University of Pennsylvania Wedgwood Plate produced in 1940 to celebrate Penn's Bicentennial. The plate is titled "The Museum Porch" and was drawn by Thornton Oakley. Plate measures 10 3/8 inches in diameter and has the Wedgwood, Etruria, England stamp on the rear. In good condition with a small circular repair on the rear as seen in the image. The price has been reduced accordingly. Still Presents very well.
The University Museum is on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places and is a part of the University of Pennsylvania Historic District.
