University of Pennsylvania Wedgwood Plate, Franklin Field 1929. Wedgwood, Etruria. Made in England 9L30. Sole Importer Jones McDuffee & Stratton Co. Plate measures 10 3/8 inches in diameter. In very good condition. No chips, cracks or crazing, although the plate appears to have been used for service. Attractive blue on white depicts Franklin Field in the middle of the plate. Around the edges are little vignettes of Penn showing early University building and the school crest.
