Yale Wedgwood tea/lunch service for eight. Includes a full set of plates which measure 8 1/2  inches in diameter, a cream pitcher and sugar bowl, teapot, bread and butter plates which measure 6 inches in diameter, saucers and coffee/tea cups.

The set comes with three extra saucers, one extra coffee cup and four extra luncheon plates. The luncheon plates have the Yale "Truth and Light" Lux ET Veritas motif in the center. The teapot measures 9 inches by 4 1/2 inches. It has one small chip that is not visible when the teapot is sitting. The coffee/tea cups feature the Branford Founders House of 1701 and the saucers and desert plates feature the Russel House. The creamer has a small chip on the bottom and measures 6 inches x 2 1/2 inches. The sugar bowl measures 6 1/2 x 3 1/3 inches and features fancy handles. The teapot, creamer and sugar bowl all feature a lovely pattern and show an image of Elihu Yale on them. This collection shows minor wear and use by the original Yale family that owned it since 1938.

By Wedgwood in Staffordshire Blue, made in England with the appropriate markings on the bottom of each piece.

The set was made and imported in 1934 and it is rare to still find full sets like this. Pictured in the image is the tea pot, sugar bowl, creamer and one set each of the other four items. Priced to sell, since individually, each piece is under $20/per.
