Pennpix September 1953 - University of Pennsylvania Humor Magazine. Pennpix was Penn's student lampoon magazine featuring humor, satire and illustrations. 48 pages in very good condition. This cover illustration of this issue features a bewildered freshman arriving on campus. In addition to the editorial content the magazine also has scores of advertisements from local Philadelphia businesses.

Pennpix was founded by Richard Levinson and William Link who studied at Wharton and who would go on to have Emmy award winning careers in Hollywood. Founded in 1943 the magazine survived less than two decades, thus they are difficult to find.
