Memorial Book of the Sesquicentennial Celebration of the Founding of the College of New Jersey and of the Ceremonies Inaugurating Princeton University. Published by Charles Scribner's Sons, New York, 1898.
Limited edition of 500 copies.
A very large book, 462 pages, measuring 13 inches by 9 inches. The first part of the book is an account of the celebrations, the second part contains letters and telegrams of congraulations sent from all over the world, and the third part is a historical sketch of the university. There are roughly thirty illustrations in the book.
The book is in very good condition. The very rare dust jacket is also present although soiled on the spine area and missing several pieces that have chipped away.
A rare book about Princeton.
