Rare hardcover book The Proposed Graduate College of Princeton University. Printed for the University, 1903. The book is 80 pages and is large, measuring 13 inches x 10 inches. The inside of the front cover has a fold-out of the proposed college.

The first chapter describes the origin of the project, the second discusses the reasons for the Graduate College, the third outlines the Plan and Life of the Graduate College, the fourth contains the cost estimate and the last is a conclusion. The college was modeled after colleges at Oxford and Cambridge. The pencil sketches in the book are beautifully done and show the view from the "deer park," one of the cloisters, a garden wall and more. There are comparisons to how architecture was done at Exeter College in England and of Magdalen College Oxford.

The proposed cost was $3 milllion.

The front cover has some staining as seen in the image, and the spine has a small piece on the top that is missing. The internal contents are in excellent condition.

A very rare book, we have never seen another and aside from the Library of Congress and the Princeton University we were unable to locate any other institutions that hold it.
